 A Brand Born of Inspiration

Bombee has its roots in a family story. It began as a fundraising project by my teenage daughter, who created these fun bath products to help fund a school trip to Tanzania. With her off to university now, the brand has found its home under the Soapary umbrella—but it remains infused with her creativity and spirit.

Meet Our Founder: A Story of Family, Passion, and Beautiful Things

At Soapary, every product we create has a story behind it, and that story begins with family, creativity, and a lifelong love of beautiful, well-made things. I’m Lisa, the founder of Soapary, and I’d love to share how my journey brought me here. 

A Creative Beginning

I grew up in Cambridgeshire as part of a big, lively family with six siblings, including my twin sister, Michelle. From a young age, we were always drawn to creativity and experimenting with style—not just in fashion, but in the little details that make people feel comfortable and special. 

Michelle and I shared a dream of working on a project together, and during COVID-19, we finally made it happen. That’s when Soapary was born. While Michelle has since returned to the fashion industry, she remains an important part of our story, and the support of my family continues to drive me forward every day. 

A Passion for Beautiful Things 

My career began in footwear buying, but my real love has always been in design—understanding the details and creating something from the ground up. Over the years, I’ve worked with incredible brands like Joules, Rag & Bone, Whistles, Abercrombie & Fitch, and more, traveling the world to source materials, engineer products, and create collections. 

Those experiences taught me the importance of quality, craftsmanship, and having a good eye for detail. I’ve always been passionate about beautiful products and know what goes into making something truly special. Whether it’s browsing a market in Italy or discovering hidden gems in New York, I’ve always loved finding and creating things that stand out. 

 The Birth of Soapary 

While I loved my time in the fashion industry, it often meant long hours and extensive travel, keeping me away from my family. During the pandemic, it felt like the right time to pivot and create something that not only fulfilled my dream of having my own brand but also allowed me to be more present at home. 

At Soapary, I’ve been able to bring together my design background, my passion for creating high-quality products, and my commitment to building something meaningful for my family. Many people compliment our branding, which I’ve developed myself, and it’s a reflection of the care and attention to detail that runs through everything we do.
