There is something rather special about discovering a scent in person.

At Soapary, our collections are designed to be experienced slowly, whether that is stepping into our shop, pausing at a market stall, or finding us unexpectedly at a seasonal event.

Elvaston Castle

You will find us in the Lower Courtyard at Elvaston Castle, part of the wider Elvaston Estate.

Set within the original stable buildings, our shop is a quiet space to explore our full collection of natural skincare and aromatherapy blends. Surrounded by parkland and history, it is a place to take your time, discover new scents, and enjoy a slower moment away from the everyday.

A Note on Our Journey

Soapary’s story has always been shaped by place.

From early days at local farmers and artisan markets, including Ruddington, to Belvoir Castle, where many of you first discovered us and where our first shop found its home, each setting has quietly shaped the brand. That sense of heritage, setting and scent continues to influence everything we do today.

Now based at Elvaston, we carry that story forward, creating spaces where scent, memory and wellbeing gently come together.

From time to time, we step beyond the courtyard and bring Soapary to a small number of carefully chosen markets and seasonal events.

These are often where many of our customers first discover us, and where we continue to meet both familiar and new faces throughout the year.
